Antique Maytag washing machine motor complete with exhaust including heat shield - $350 - (Cheyenne, WY)
It looks like it was just taken out of service but I couldn't get it to fire with a little mix gas. No spark or plugged carb orifice I guess. It's out of an estate so no one knows. Pretty clean unit,no visable damage or rust issues at all. The tag says Model 31,cast into the flywheel is TYPE FY-ED4. Looks like a good complete exhaust system including the very rare heat shield. It slides along the exhaust pipe to where it passes over a wood door casing,etc to the outside so it doesn't catch the wood on fire. If sold this will likely be boxed in two different boxes so the motor doesn't squish the exh pipe if it falls off a 5' conveyor. It will be shipped Fedex,not UPS, so the chances of that are much slimmer but still possible. Shipping amount includes recycled boxes,packing,shipping to lower 48 and insurance,no other fees or costs.
