Here up for bid is 2 sterling plates / chargers that are 10" in diameter and in a gadroon and shell boarder and are made by the famous Paul Storr of London. One is made in 1808, and the other is made in 1810. They weigh about 22.75 troy ounces each, total weight is 45.50 troy oz. Very heavy and great quality. His best work was done at this period. The plates have a crest that looks to be of Royalty. HONI.SOIT.QUI.MAL.Y.PENSE. Order of the Garter. Oldest and most prestigious Order. No initials or monograms . Shipping in the US is free.
