Set of 4 Knowles Sweetbriar China dinner plates. Hard to Find. Highly collectible Floral Sweetbrier pattern. Very few were produced and not many left. Mid century Modern produced in 1940s. Stunning artwork of painted flowers. In great antique condition. They are almost 80 years old! Some scratches / wear marks on the painting due to some use. 2 plates have no chips, no cracks. 2 plates have 2 small nicks each on the bottom rim. Not visible from the top. Please look at pictures. Some dots and minor spots of discoloration on the back of the plates. Overall still breathtaking handpainted, made in USA plates of high integrity and quality. Imperfections are part of the technology of that time. All marked in Gold "Accent Shape Knowles Sweetbriar X-2241-0. T.M. USA" on the back. Each plate measures about 10 1/4" in diameter.Very Heavy & Sturdy. These are treasured family collection for generations. We just don't have space for them to showcase their glory.
