A BEAUTIFUL, ANTIQUE STERLING SILVER SOUVENIR REPLICA OF A: "CORONATION ANOINTING SPOON" BY PITHEY & CO. 1908. A very collectable antique souvenir spoon. Made in 1908 during the reign of King Edward VII. (1901 to 1910.) English Sterling Silver by Harold Vyvyan Pithey & Co. and Hallmarked in Chester in 1908. The spoon offered is in excellent condition with no damage or wear and very nice sharp detailing on the stem and bowl. The makers mark and the Hallmark are easily read. The remarkably "fine" condition of the spoon make it an ideal addition to a Coronation Spoon Collection. Length.......4 1/4 " Weight.......0toz 5.47 dwt.
