Being offered is: A Vintage Pork Costulator, (c)1954, by Damon Catron / Earl Heady and Gordon Ashton - Iowa State College in Ames Iowa, made by The Vernon Company, Newton, Iowa, U.S.A. This device can be used to calculate the most profitable ration for pork/hogs. The two flat metal disks are rotated based on known values to find least-cost. A clever vintage tool for the hog farmer. The metal Costulator is 10" by 10" by 1/16". Included is the original packing sleeve and instructions. The pictures and condition issues will have to tell the rest of the story. Condition issues include: used, uncleaned, some scratches/small loss of paint, one corner has a bend mark(as shown in photo #4), the instructions sheets have notations on them, the original packing sleeve is damaged i.e. tears and crease marks and a personalization, dated 1954, an estate auction find Please use the pictures to judge the item because they also are part of the description.
