Antique Card Game of Authors - 1889 - $18 - (Berwyn, IL)

A New Game of Authors by A. B. Carroll, A. M. was copyrighted in 1889, published by A. Flanagan, Chicago IL. All 100 cards are present. Two have some discoloration (see last photo) but the others are good. The backs of the cards are pink and are 2-5/8" x 4-3/8". They show the author's name, dates of birth and death, and the titles of books they wrote. There is a testimonial card in the last photo. There is a wide variety of authors. The photo of the cards is just a sampling. The original box is in the pictures. See photos for detailed inspection and condition.
