Vintage hand made one-of -a -kind pine wood file folder box, trunk, treasure chest is 8-3/4 x 15 x14-3/8 inches tall. There is a handle to open and close it and a pair of brass hinges on it. The lid works very well. It is a little bit larger than a letter size file folder and would be good to keep active files in or other important papers, My wife used it in her kindergarten class room to keep Happy Meal toys in. She called it a treasure chest and would let the students pick a toy as a reward for doing something extra good. It weighs a little over 8 pounds.
