For sale is a pair of 2 Lenox Art Ware Novelties #8 Shell Design Demitasse Cup & Saucer Sets. Made in Trenton, New Jersey, USA, the #8 creamy ivory cups and saucers are shell shaped with applied handles. The #8 Shell A D Cup & Saucer Set is pictured and listed on pages 96 & 97 of Lenox Collectibles by Richard E. Morin. The demitasse cups have the Lenox green back-stamps used from 1924 to 1930. And they are pristine for their age! Included in the set: 2 demitasse cups & 2 saucers MEASUREMENTS: The cups are 2 1/2 inches in diameter by 2 inches high. The saucers are 4 3/4 inches in diameter. CONDITION: In MINT condition. Free from any damage including chips, cracks, crazing or repairs.
