Vintage wood shipping crate with lid. Likely from the 1960s. Wonderful graphics on the lid and sides give insight to its past. A contents label and collect tag from the American Railway Express Co Inc are present. Crate makes an excellent storage chest for blankets or for display and photography. Does not appear strong enough to bear a lot of weight and sitting on is not recommended. Measures approximately 39" long, 21 1/2" wide, and 26 5/8" high (25 3/4" without lid).
