Antique Waite Thresher Co. 1890 Sterling Silver Thimble Size 9 - $30 - (Granada Hills, CA)

This auction is for an antique Waite Thresher Co. Sterling silver thimble with an egg and dart pattern at the bottom of a double band. It is stamped inside the apex with "thimble-in-star" logo for the Waite, Thresher Co. of Providence, Rhode Island, size stamp 9 (16 mm in diameter, 20 mm tall), and "Sterling". This thimble is shown on p. 124 (plate 37) of Gay Ann Rogers' book American Silver Thimbles. The thimble is in good vintage condition with some age and use wear, out of round. Be sure to view the photos as they are an important part of the description and an excellent source of additional details. Would make a great addition to your collection.
