STUNNING FINEST large chunky carved natural Red Sardinian coral cameo brooch with hinged bale so also can be worn as a pendant. Master carved...exquisite details in very very high relief....FULL FACE (not profile)...beautiful Goddess/maiden with leaves & flower on head...cascading down shoulder with ram's head at the bottom. It measures 1 3/4" x 1 1/8" x 1/2" in high relief. Heavy twisted rope mount with hallmark on bale...tests 14K gold. Naturally occurring coral imperfections in coral. With the eye looks perfect. Upon close inspection with a magnifying loop ...shows wear... to tip of nose and chips off flowers(pic#1). As you can see from the pic#5...the profile is intact. I believe the original C-clasp was replaced. REDUCED!!!!
