Offered here for your consideration is a Meissen floral encrusted painted porcelain centerpiece basket that dates to the late 19th or early 20th century. It is 1st quality with an underglaze blue crossed swords mark. It is in fair condition with typical expected losses in the applied flowers and foliage. There is a chip and overpaint to one foot and another foot with signs of possible overpaint. Otherwise, there are also light surface scratches and surface wear consistent with age.
