Antique French Neyet Freres Stevengraph Woven Silk Tapestry Picture - The Virgin - $90 - (Dadeville, AL)

A beautiful black and white silk tapestry panel, 'Maria Virgo', with the Virgin holding the Child on her lap and a bunch of lilies in her left hand. Exquisitely worked, and I believe a 19th century Stevengraph by Neyet Freres (although any info appreciated). 'D'apres F Lacaille' is worked into the panel on the lower right. Professionally framed and glazed, probably in the 60's or 70's, and in very good antique condition. Measures 20" by 12" including frame, The lady I bought this from said a Catholic Priest gave it to her years ago.
