Selling is an advertisement for: American Flyer from 1929 This advertisement is by the American Flyer Manufacturing Company, of Chicago IL. The ad has a photo (painting?) of a boy at the controller as an A.F. passenger set emerges from a tunnel. It is a boxcab-type electric engine pulling passenger cars. There are drawings of a highway flashing signal and the automatic semaphore. There is also a coupon for the 48-page train book. This ad is half page, approx. 3.5” x 10”, carefully removed from an actual 1929 magazine. No reprints or copies.
