Antique GERMAN Embroidered Pillow Sham/Cover--UNUSED--Castle/Abbey-Translation? - $9 - (Glendive, MT)

I am merely guessing this is German, and would certainly welcome a translation.Whatever it says and whatever it is depicting, whether a castle or an abbey, it is beautiful.This was expertly embroidered and has never seen use as it is still crisp with newness even though it is indeed vintage.This opens at one end and measures 16" by 21 1/2".The open end has a selvedged border to prevent raveling so this is complete and ready to use.At first I thought this was a German souvenir, but now believe it was a kit that was purchased and finished.Please study the photos carefully to fully appreciate the beauty and flawless condition of this vintage pillow sham.This will be packed with care and shipped the next business day following payment.
