1950's Black Singer Sewing Machine #301 with Case + Accessories+ Booklet - $295 - (Roanoke, VA)
Up for sale this week is a really nice vintage Singer sewing machine, model #301. It is serial # NA092351, which dates it to the early 1950's. It still works/sews (frontwards and backwards) like a dream, with a little bit of wear to the paint in places. Even the light still works! It could use a good cleaning, but I'll leave that to its new owner. Also included are the buttonhole attachment and the zigzag attachment, plus the original fitted case. The two cords are included as well. There's only one bobbin and one foot. There's also the original owners manual as well. The case has a bit of a musty smell--was probably in storage for a while. It's a sturdy machine and weighs in at about 25 pounds with its case and attachments. It's a workhorse of a machine and would make a welcome addition to your sewing room!
