Norwegian Wedding Mug Pewter Telemark Rosemaling Vintage - $40 - (Minneapolis, MN)

This is a beautiful and rare Norwegian pewter wedding mug or stein with a Telemark Rosemaling handle. The scenes in the lower portion of the mug depict a traditional Norwegian bride with bridal crown being rowed across a fjord in a boat. The next scene depicts her being brought on horseback up the fjord to a Stavkyrka or Stave Chuch. This mug measures 5 1/4" high and 4 1/2" across the top to the handle. The H mark is for A Holthe Tinn (Pewter), Norway.
