Antique Porcelain/China Hertwig Dorothy Pet Name Doll Fabric Body Germany, 20+" - $165 - (Denison, TX)

For sale is an Antique Dorothy 'Pet Name' Porcelain/China Head Doll manufactured by Hertwig in Germany. The doll has a Fabric Body and measures 20-1/2 inches long. The doll has on her original dress which has some light fading and faint yellowing. There is a petticoat as well as pantaloons. Condition is very good, I find no damage to the body, porcelain arms, porcelain legs or head. There is some paint wear to her black hair. The doll's chest is marked, "DOROTHY," there are also markings on the back between the shoulders but I could not make out the wording. There is an old inventory number on masking tape stuck to one of the legs.
