Schiaparelli sage green midi length skirt suit, estimated late 1940s, early 1950s. Criss cross panel at front jacket fastens with mottled green buttons. Light padding at jacket hip creates a New Look shape. Pockets concealed in jacket seam. Cuffed sleeves. Skirt fastens with side zip and hooks. (Color is slightly lighter than the full size photos appear.) Content unknown, feels like a lightweight wool. Jacket fully lined in an S monogram fabric, skirt unlined. Best fits an XS/S, see measurements. Jacket bust (at underarm) 35". Jacket waist 27". Jacket length (shoulder to hem) 22 1/2". Skirt waist 27". Skirt hip 40". Skirt length 30 1/2". Very good condition, would be excellent except for a small hard to spot area near side skirt seam that looks like it may have been rewoven. See close up.
