G. W. & C. B. Colton, cartographers and publisher, circa 1870 Original Colton Map "Colton's Germany No. 4". The Colton atlas issued four maps of Germany, this is number 4. The map is 14 x 17 inches, including blank edges. Condition: minor age toning the far edges of map, which would be covered if matted and framed, otherwise a still bright map, minor foxing, hand coloring is excellent, faint crease to upper left area of the map. This issue of Colton's maps has an attractive chain link border. Questions welcome.
