Vintage Brass British Ship Bell & Wide Arrow Military Nautical WW1 WW2 Never Use - $180 - (Wichita, KS)

I know next to nothing about this bell. See pictures. I was told the Arrow was used by the English to mark ordinance in WW1 and WW2??? 6lbs, 7 inch wide bottom, 6 inches tall. No knocker and doesn't look to have ever been used. Great shape!!
