Description: Pair of Royal Berlin Porcelain Grape Gatherers Figurines 19th century; Hand Painted Blue on white. These charming figures depict a couple gathering grapes into a basket set gently on a tree trunk. The female gathers the grapes first into the folds of her gown, and the male into his pocket. Makers Mark on Reverse. Weight 3 pounds. Measures Approx., 9" Height Condition: Good Condition. The females hat & sleeve have a small chip. There has been restoration ato both baskets where the handles used to be. The male figure has hairline to area on leg, (please refer to photos). There are numerous chips and loss to some of the tiny ribbon details.
