You are bidding on a 1943 Graduation Yearbook from Hobbs Army Airfield in Hobbs, NM. This was one of the few B-17 training bases as well as Bombardment Training. They did train 2 Engine Pilots.A unique yearbook in that there is colored troops included in the yearbook. You do not see this in many war time publications.Units included are:Class 43-D, Class 43-E, 387th Base & Headquarters Squadron, 308th Headquarters & Headquarters Squadron, 955th Two Engine Flying Squadron, 956th Two Engine Squadron, 959th Bombardier Squadron, 960th Bombardier Squadron, 342nd Aviation Squadron (Colored), 1013th Quartermaster Platoon (Colored).
