Adorable, antique set of 8, M-I-B all bisque, 3" tall ethnically dressed DOLLS - $119 - (Sparta, NJ)
Darling set of international dolls, ?? ?? ?? ?? This is our third set of eight, darling mint-in-labeled-box, all bisque dollhouse-size dolls, circa 1930. They were probably produced by Bestmaid in Japan and have never been displayed or used and are from old store stock exactly as they have been stored for over 75 years. They are each incised on the back of their neck: Japan. They each have their original painted international clothing and costumes with molded hair and features as well as socks, shoes and accessories. They have stiff chubby legs to stand and excellent coloring with no cracks or chips, no nicks or repaint, no repairs and no fading, no odors as they are from a smoke free home. Other sets shown in last few photos are not included. We have listed two similar, labeled sets of quintuplet dolls, separately, for your consideration. Either set would be adorable in a dollhouse or doll room and would display very nicely in a cabinet or on a shelf. Please note: nearly all of our items are antique or vintage (usually with some signs of wear due to usage and previous storage). We do our very best to describe and photograph them for you and do not repair, restring, repaint or enhance them in any way as most collectors prefer to find them in their original state.
