1800's Carved Painted Male with Toga Ship Figurehead Antique Nautical Maritime - $3,495 - (Grand Blanc, MI)

RARE 1800's (maybe earlier) Carved Painted Wooden Man with Toga Ship's Figurehead! This old relic measures about 60" tall. The paint is worn and faded and there is some cracking of the wood. It has the original chain links that supported it when it was in service. This figurehead has been in a private collection for close to 20 years, having been purchased at a Maritime Auction in Mass.If you are somewhere close to Flint MI I can POSSIBLY do a delivery or partial delivery (for fee) using my enclosed trailer. But we would have to both agree PRIOR to sale on all of the details.OR:I use Beltmann Freight (North American Van Lines freight division) to move these heavy things and I can do a guess-timation on approximate cost. They do not crate and they do you use forklifts, all stuff is "hand-trucked" and delivered to driveway (if accessible).
