This is an authentic vintage 1970's necklace by David Navarro one of a kind and signed by him. His work has been featured in most high fashioned magazines such as (Vogue, Bazaar and Elle). His jewelry was worn by numerous and famous celebrities and socialites worldwide. Photo # 3 shows the necklace length when worn is 22 inches. The clasp is 925 silver and signed by D. Navarro, the circular ring is 925 silver as well as the chain. He was making this jewelry under the name of "Navarro Alternatives". The following information was acquired from his daughter The beads are African Brass Hichi beads, and the silver colored beads COULD possibly be sterling. The cross is sterling and is 1/4 inch thick is 1-1/2 inch wide and 1-1/2 long. This necklace may also be worn as a choker (see photo # 2) hence the name "alternatives".
