Round Ceramic Bead 2" Hand Painted Yellow Leaves on Purple Original Vintage - $16 - (Great Falls, MT)
This is an originally designed 2" ceramic round bead. It is airbrushed with a deep eggplant purple over a yellow background. The leaves were masked off before the purple was added. It has a glossy glazed finish. * 2" ceramic bead* just under 1" thick* hand painted/airbrushed* original* vintage (I made it in the early 1990's) I sculpted the original round bead in plasticine clay, then made plaster mold. I poured the ceramic slip into the mold, let it sit until it was about 1/8" thick, then poured out the excess. When it set up I removed it, put holes for the yarn in it, cleaned it up, numbered & signed it . When it was dry, I airbrushed the yellow, then masked off the leaves and the deep purple with underglaze then fired it. Next I put 2 coats of clear gloss glaze and fired it again.Thisitem comes from a smoke-free home.?
