Vintage Appalachian Folk / Outsider Art Panel with Found Wood Elements ca 1980 - $179 - (Batavia, NY)

Outstanding Folk Art Wall Sculpture from the northern corner of Appalachian region in PA. Purchased ca 1980. Constructed of found wood elements, which are painted in a primitive figurative style. Hooks and wire are attached for displaying. The painted surface is bright with some chips as seem in the photos. Please see all views of the relief element that projects from the wooden board; chipping paint from the original wood painted surface is apparent. This a beautiful example of Outsider Art and would be nice addition to Naive / Outsider collection. Dimensions: 12 wide x 27 high x 6 inches deep. The wooden sculpture weights approximately 10 pounds. Cost of shipping artwork, box and appropriate packing.
