14.00 DESCRIPTION Condition is subjective. This is art, handmade and over 45 years old. There are no tears or folds. Some prints have small adhesive stains in the upper corners or be loose. There may be indications of other handling marks. These Nanogak stonecut prints from Holman Island are mounted on colored embossed cardstock. Each stonecut print is printed with black ink on rice paper and are approximately 9.5" Wide x 6.25" Tall with Nanogak's stone cut signature. Holman Island settlement occasionally offered collector's introduction priced Inuit art items for sale to the public during the early to mid 70s. While none of the prints are numbered like larger cataloged prints are, the cardstock indicates on the back that each is an authentic stone cut, is hand printed, from Holman, N.W.T, Canada. No exact date is known, nor any other information. The group of five (5) prints are being offered as a complete set.
