FREE SHIPPING! This auction is for 2 beautiful glass buttons made by artisans in the region of Bohemia, Czech Republic. They are pressed from vintage molds and then ground, painted, and painstakingly detailed by hand. The paint is permanent high-temperature fired enamel. These buttons have a wonderful 3-D multi layered quality. There is a central raised 'jewel' in the middle of the button. The mold used makes the colors "pop" because it was carved in high relief. Each measures approx. 22mm (7/8") wide and has a glass shank. They are reverse painted in pink enamel. There are bright silver, raspberry and purple enamel decorations on the front. They make wonderful embellishments to clothes, knits, hats, crafts, and can even be used in jewelry making!! Gorgeous as earrings or a bracelet clasp. We specialize in limited edition Czech buttons.
