WELCOME A working GE Mini Cassette Recorder. The battery compartment does have rust on the ends from corrosion so it will run but not consistently. I cleaned the compartment a little and got it to work so if cleaned in detail it should normal. Since it does actually work I see no reason it would not work if you had a 6V wall adapter to power it. Please understand this is a working unit that will need either extra parts (adapter) or service (cleaning rust) to work properly. If you have other questions please let me know.
