Vintage 4 Silver-tone Metal Shank Buttons Intricate European Family Crest Style - $4 - (Hiawatha, KS)
Up for bid is a set of 4 silver tone dish-shaped metal shank buttons, which have an intricate crest design, which appears to be a double headed eagle under a European style crown (see photos). There is also some supporting design & non-English words. These are beautiful and artistic, and would enhance any garment. They measure approximately ¾” in diameter and are in very good vintage condition, with no wear sign to the front, but show wear attesting to their age, only on the back. Please keep in mind this is a vintage item, not a new item. I try to describe items as accurately as possible, mentioning any obvious flaws for accuracy of condition. Crazing and manufacturing flaws such as pin heads, color variations, straw marks, bubbles, inclusions, and other manufacturing anomalies are considered normal for glass, china, and pottery of age.
