VINTAGE 1930'S-40'S MILLINERY VEILING BLACK WITH OFF WHITE 33" LONG 17" WIDE - $10 - (Mineola, NY)

Vintage 1930's-1940's millinery veiling length. Purchased from a New York milliner who was closing her shop in the mid 1970's. Most likely made in France, as all of the other veilings I got at the same time were marked as Made In France. Truly the most unusual veiling or netting that I have ever seen. Black/off white in a most unusual, bold "nautical flags" design. Approximately 17.5" wide, and 33" long. The spacing from "flag" to "flag" is 2.125". Good condition. I don't see any holes, but there's a crease in the center that can be pressed out. It is a crisp veiling, not a soft, drape-y texture. On one selvedge there's a loose thread for 5" from one end, and a 1-space broken thread on the edge. See photos. Kept in a smoke-free, pet-free location. I ship with tracking or proof of mailing.
