Fanstastic Ampex 350 Class A record/reproduce electronics with recapped power supply in great working condition. Power supply is mounted on a 2 rack space panel and has new electrolytic capacitors. The 350 electronics unit has not been altered or rebuilt to my knowledge. These units were built with a variety of classic transformers, UTC, Peerless and Triad all made transformer for Ampex at the time these were manufactured. As many recording engineers know this unit is one of the best sounding vintage Class A tube microphone preamps ever built, it can also be utilized recording and reproducing analog tape when set up with the proper Ampex transport. It also makes an amazing tape echo...you'll need a transport of course.
