Decorators cotton fabric Empress Magnolia by GREEFF brass trellis magnolia 160" - $33 - (West Springfield, MA)
Somewhat vintage, new (NEW-OLD STOCK, pre-owned but not used) medium weight decorators cotton fabric. "Empress Magnolia" by GREEFF COPYRIGHT MCMLXXXVIII I think it is 1988 year when it was printed. PRINTED IN ENGLAND for Greeff There is not much of information about the finish used for this fabric. Fabric has some shine to it and to the touch feels like there is some kind of protective finish is applied during the process of printing/making of this fabric. Bedspread curtains decorators weight, smooth fabric. There are 13 colors used in the print of this fabric and the pattern. Because of the shine, the large scale of the print, and the not so great camera that I have I was not able to capture the beautiful print..but I tried and listed as many pictures as I though looked decent. 4 yards 16 inches long and 57 inches wide. Ideal for crafts, decor, slipcovers, curtains/drapes, clothing (like large flowers?), shams, upholstery (not heavy upholstery fabric but will do the service as such) . Fabric is new, clean, had NOT been washed nor used. Generally fabric is clean; however, there are few spots (soiled-dust color and one black) on the white part of one of the selvages and nothing (no soiling) is on the print itself. Those spots are from fabric being on a roll and stored on the floor unprotected. This fabric comes from a smoke free environment. Fabric comes from friend's pet friendly household. I do have a bunny but I do not allow it anywhere near our crafts supplies (separate room). Fabric was stored sewing room in plastic bags and a box for a while. Fabric is about 25+- years old. Fabrics have folds as they are not stored on bolts (they were taken off the bolt) and had been folded and not ironed ever since they had been bought/stored.
