THE SINGLE CHROME GIBSON TAILPIECE IS INDICATIVE OF 1906 PRODUCTION PULLED FROM A CLOSET IN UPPER WISCONSIN AFTER CLEANING ALL THE DUST, THE ENTIRE BODY WAS POLISHED USING LEMON OIL OVER ALL SURFACES REVEALED IS AN AMAZING COMPLETE 1906 GIBSON STYLE U HARP GUITAR ALL TUNERS ARE ORIGINAL AND WORK EXCELLENT THE NEW STRINGS ARE ALL GHS PHOSPHOR BRONZE: SIX STRINGS: .011, .015, .023, .030, .039, .050 10 BASS STRINGS: .044, .046, .046, .054, .056, .056, .056, .056, .056, .056 THIS IS NOT JUST A WALL HANGER, THIS IS AN INCREDIBLE PLAYING AND SOUNDING INSTRUMENT WITH SUB-BASS ADDED TO GUITAR. THE MOST SUSTAIN FROM A GUITAR BODY THAT YOU HAVE EVER HEARD. BODY WIDTH IS 21" WITH AN OVERALL LEWNGTH OF 48". THE TOP IS CLOSE GRAIN SPRUCE WITH WALNUT SIDES, BACK, NECKS AND HEAD STOCKS. ORIGINAL BRIDGE AND A BONE NUT. THE GUITAR FRETBOARD IS EBONY THERE IS SOME CRACKING TO THE TOP AND A DEPRESSION/CRACK IN THE PICK GUARD AREA. THERE IS A CRACK IN THE BACK THAT HAS BEEN GLUED SOMETIME IN THE PAST. DESPITE THE CRACKS IN THE TOP, THE SOUND IS AMAZING AND CAN BE PLAYED WITH DEEP SUB BASS. IN THE SOUND HOLE IS THE LABEL FEATURING A PICTURE OF ORVILLE GIBSON - GIBSON MANDOLIN-GUITAR MFG. CO. KALAMAZOO, MICHIGAN U.S.A. PATENTED FEBRUARY FIRST 1898. THERE IS NO SERIAL NUMBER.
