Neck size: 3" Long. Vase Body size: 6 1/2" Long. This is extremely rare Chinese Porcelain Vase with Dragon and waves design. Rare soft celadon-glazed vase. The vase is made with fine quality porcelain. The mark in blue and white on the bottom of vase said Great Qing Kangxi Year Made (1662-1722). The tapered body elegantly rising to high-shoulders, surmounted by a tall cylindrical neck with flared rim, encircled at the base by two rings, the body finely carved with sinuous dragon amongst crashing waves, covered overall in a smooth pale celadon green glaze, thinning to a whitish-green tone at the rim and over the rings, the base inscribed in underglaze-blue with a six-character mark on bottom of vase. The vase came with nice Zitan base as photo showing. The condition of vase excellent, no chip, no crack and no hairline. There is little wear spot on bottom of vase over Kangxi marking. It is very handsome Chinese Pale Celadon Vase. The age of vase is from 1920's or older. However, it is not authenticated as the date of Kangxi (1662-1722). Therefore, the price of our vase is priced accordingly. If the vase was purchased, we will include and ship our Sotheby's catalog.
