Used IH 284 Diesel tractor MFWD front end assembly. This is a complete kit to add MFWD to a 284 Diesel other than the front rims and tires. I have several new parts on this kit including all 4 tie rod ends, the tie rod tube, drag link, several bearing and seals and both packing kits for the knuckle ball housings. Nothing broken, nothing missing, needs pinion drive shafts installed into the housings, add the CV ball joints and reassemble. Now some history here. The 284 series came in both Gas and Diesel engine versions. Only the Diesel was offered in MFWD and that was after 1980. The transfer case for the drive shaft is molded in to the clutch housing so, this is no simple weekend project to convert your 284 Diesel 2wd into a 284 Diesel MFWD.
