Holton h279 Farkas Professional French Horn Silver - $3,750 - (Fairfax, VA)
The Holton H279 Farkas Professional French Horn is the same as model H179, but with a detachable bell. Farkas models are regarded among working professionals and leading academics as the "flagships" of the Holton fleet. This specific horn took me from just high school to 8 different countries, performing in each as part of the Kentucky Ambassadors of Music back in the summer of 2012. It has been safely kept in its case ever since! These French Horns produce the centered, velvety tone and projection sought by all. The solid nickel silver edition gives it the sound (and look) people from all over want to experience! I am also including the case (bought separately) as well as unused rotary oil and slide grease (it never needed much when I played it!) I hope it finds a home where it is enjoyed!
