Bach 42BO Professional Trombone with Thayer Valve - $2,200 - (Acton, MA)

This Bach 42 professional Trombone was built with a Thayer axial flow valve. The axial flow valve helps to redirect the air flow through the instrument with less resistance and "stuffy" sound as a tradition rotor valve. This instrument is yellow brass with a .547" bore and an 8 1/2" yellow brass bell. It has an open wrap to reduce tone color change and resistance to blow when the valve in depressed. The horn comes with a hard, wood-shell case. The Trombone has been professionally cleaned and serviced by Osmun Music.
