Jupiter JTR 1000 25th Anniversary Edition Trumpet in silver plate finish. The JTR 1000 was one of Jupiter's entry level pro models in 2005. Very similar to the Tribune model of that time. This model has a solid sterling silver leadpipe for superior corrosion protection. This is a very high quality instrument, and retailed $1200+ new. This horn is in very good condition. Valves are fast and smooth and have good compression. All slides move freely. I repair horns as a hobby and performed all necessary repairs to bring this one back to playing condition. This one had moderate bell flare and bell crook damage. I was able to straighten / burnish out the damaged areas. It does show some cosmetic imperfections and signs of repair, but still looks very nice. The 1st valve bottom cap is slightly different than the others, but screws on just fine. This horn has been priced accordingly to the minor cosmetic imperfections. Horn has been cleaned, polished, serviced and is ready to play. Horn plays very nicely in all registers. Perfect for an advancing student or comeback player. Includes the original deluxe leather bound hard case with 25 anniversary badging, and a 3c mouthpiece in good playing condition.
