Dated 1810 Madonna & Child Carved Cameo - $400 - (Albany, NY)

Dated 1810 Madonna & Child Carved Cameo -Beautiful quality carved cameo Dated February 22, 1810 at bottom. Engraved decorations at top of bezel. Roughly 1 1/8 inches across and1 3/8 inches high. The cameo is about 1 1/4 inches high and 7/8 inches across I believe the pin on the back was added later. Underneath the pin are remnants of cursive engraved letters. They have been rubbed off in a way that shows the cameo was hanging off a necklace, without the pin interfering. See photos for condition details. Insurance required
