Cadillac Emblem - small shield and crest with backing plate NOS - $12 - (Uvalde, TX)

1" Cadillac crest and shield interior emblems with steel backing plate for proper factory installation. All parts appear as NOS that have never been installed however they were not individually packaged and subjected to the dust and air for many years. The shields and crests were rinsed with water and the backing plates were brushed to remove minor surface rust. The shields all show complete and bright enamel under the protective urethane type clear coating. The crests measure about 1" outside to outside. The crests are about 1/2". The posts are about 1/2" long. The backing plates are roughly 1" x 1 1/2". For those unfamiliar or considering an unconventional application, the backing plate have 4 holes designed to accept the posts from the crest and shield. Once the posts are pushed into the holes the backing plate acts similar to a spring and bites on the posts, making it very difficult to remove them without serious damage or one or the other. Each accepted bid will include 1 wreath, 1 shield and 1 backing plate.Combined shipping is available.
