It has been tested to work perfectly in our front loading Nintendo Brand system. The volume 5 codebook is a whopping 166 pages. It has some normal wear. Approx. the last 20 pages have a corner that got damp and are now stained at the corner. I saw no writing in the book at all. It is intact and complete. It is in very good condition in my opinion but the pictures tell the real story. This item will only work in front loading Nintendo brand systems. It will also work in a Nintendo brand top loader but not without modification. There is info. to do the mods on the internet. IT WILL NOT WORK IN AFTERMARKET SYSTEMS.
