VINTAGE HARDELL CORNET / TRUMPET IN VINTAGE CASE - $50 - (Wellfleet, MA)

This listing is for an old horn found in an estate cleanout, which has been stored in it's case for decades. It is either a cornet or trumpet, I can't tell the difference, and I don't know much about instruments. This horn is in very good used condition, and it has been in it's case in an old estate for decades. The valves are slow to return, so it needs some work, and the finish is dull in many places. The valves were surrounded by a yellow plastic guard, which I removed for the photos. There are a couple minor dings to the bell. The case has wear, but it is structurally sound. With the mouthpiece the horn is 21 1/2 inches long, and the bell is almost 4 inches in diameter. I am selling it as found with no returns. The horn will be shipped in the case inside a larger box with lots of padding, but it will be a fairly heavy package, so please check the shipping before you bid. I use Standard Mail, First Class Mail, and Media Mail whenever possible to save you money on shipping, and I will combine items in the same box to save you money on shipping. I use foam peanuts and bubble wrap when necessary, and I use recycled products most of the time, including sturdy used cardboard boxes when I can find them. This package will be shipped by Standard Mail.
