Very Large Korean Traditional Storage Chest - 35.5" high x 42.5" wide x 16.5" - $1,499 - (Columbus, GA)

Stunning hand made traditional Korean Storage chest in South Korea. This is a large piece - 35.5" tall x 42.5" wide x 16.5" deep. Very good condition. The chest has a main storage area (traditionally for blankets/bedding) that is lined with calligraphy covered rice paper. There are also 3 drawers on the top. The front is adorned with wrought iron hardware with incised decorations. I purchased this chest in Korea in the 1970's, so it is at least 50 years old. The dealer told me it was an antique, but I cannot verify and reproductions were common. Too large and heavy to ship, local pickup only.
