Vintage Selmer Signet Trumpet - 464 Bore Vintage Selmer Signet Trumpet - 464 Bore Click images to enlarge Description Vintage Selmer Signet Trumpet: Serial No. 10258 The bore measures just about .464 inches A general description is below. First, is a description of two imperfections which need to be repaired: 1) The tuning slide has had a solder repair, but still needs some further work ; the upper tube does not insert completely into place; this may be due to misalignment (when the solder repair was done), or to a slight twist in the tuning slide crook. 2) The lead-pipe brace has had a solder repair and is quite solid and secure; however, cosmetically it is quite sloppy. The original finish is much intact, though there are many areas of wear, and surface scratches - see photos. The body is in very good condition, with only a few dings; most noticeably on the 2nd valve crook. Valves are very good. The slides are moving well. Some overall cleaning and polishing are needed.
