Fine cello by Eduard Adler. 1891 in Grünsberg. LOB is 76.3cm. Adler worked for well-known makers Wilhelm Hammig and Oswald Möckel, to name a few. By 1888 his refined technique led to his Stradivari model, using oil varnished produced by Otto. This cello has had a number of professional repairs, a newer bassbar, grafted neck, updated setup and is extremely solid and stable. Tremendous dark, rich and powerful tone with great projection and resonance. Smooth execution through registers. New Thomastik Versum strings. This cello will not disappoint!
