Lyon & Healy Prelude 38 String Lever Semi Concert / Celtic Harp ESTATE FRESH - $2,497 - (Epping, NH)

You are bidding on a Lyon and Healy Prelude 38 string lever harp that is estate fresh and has been kept in a temperature and humidity controlled environment since new, but has not actually been played much. As I do not play the harp, I had a professional luthier take a good look at the harp, and he said that aside from needing a fresh set of strings, it is in excellent functional and cosmetic condition and does not require any repairs or restorations and will be ready to play once it has some new strings. The only thing that we were able to find were a few cosmetic scratches near the base on the soundboard and back of the soundboard well. From my research, I believe that this is one of the earlier Preludes that was made. It is a high quality made entry level professional instrument. PICKUP IN SEACOAST NEW HAMPSHIRE ONLY. It fit fine in the back of my Toyota Prius with the seats folded flat, so chances are that you don't need a special vehicle to pick it up. GOOD OLD AMERICAN MONEY at time of PICKUP ONLY!
