My son bought this beautiful little Charango from craftsmen in Otavalo, Ecuador a few years ago; but, unfortunately, I never seemed to have the time to learn to play. So I'm hoping someone can put it to good use. Comes with a handwoven case. Further Info El charango, is a musical instrument of plucked strings (cordófono) of full force in the cultural areas influenced by the Quechuas and Aymaras of the southern cone of South America. It has 10 strings, which are organized in 5 double orders (Sun, Do, Mi, La, Mi). It has the shape of a small guitar whose approximate size is about 60 centimeters long.The charango has had an enormous distribution since the 70's, especially in Bolivia, Peru, Chile and Argentina, where there have been some important generations of charango players.
